Overview
ACE393 is an injectable prophylactic vaccine developed to prevent infections caused by the bacterium *Campylobacter jejuni*, a leading cause of bacterial diarrheal disease and traveler's diarrhea. The drug acts as an immunostimulant, aiming to elicit an immune response that protects against symptomatic infection following exposure to *C. jejuni*. It was initially developed by ACE BioSciences and later associated with Zymenex after acquisition. Clinical development reached Phase 2 trials for the prevention of campylobacter infections but was ultimately discontinued[1][2][3].
