Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Aceboat Cold is a fixed-dose combination medication developed by Zeebharat Med Private Limited, primarily indicated for the symptomatic relief of the common cold, fever, and associated allergic symptoms. The formulation combines four active ingredients: aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that primarily inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) to reduce pain and inflammation; paracetamol (acetaminophen), an analgesic and antipyretic that provides relief from fever and mild-to-moderate pain; phenylephrine hydrochloride, a sympathomimetic decongestant that acts as an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist to reduce nasal congestion; and cetirizine, a second-generation H1-antihistamine that blocks histamine receptors to alleviate allergic symptoms such as sneezing and rhinorrhea. This multi-modal approach addresses the complex symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections and allergic rhinitis.
