Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ACIO P DSR is a combination pharmaceutical product developed by Bennet Pharmaceuticals. It contains three active ingredients: **aceclofenac**, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes to reduce pain and inflammation; **paracetamol** (acetaminophen), an analgesic and antipyretic that acts primarily on the central nervous system; and **domperidone**, a dopamine D2 receptor antagonist used as an antiemetic and prokinetic agent. The "DSR" suffix typically indicates that the domperidone component is provided in a sustained-release formulation. This combination is indicated for the management of painful inflammatory conditions (such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis) where there is a risk of NSAID-induced nausea or vomiting.
