Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zinidol-SP is a fixed-dose combination oral tablet containing the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) aceclofenac, the analgesic and antipyretic paracetamol, and the proteolytic enzyme serratiopeptidase. Developed by Zinnia Life Sciences, it is indicated for the relief of severe pain, swelling, and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, as well as post-operative inflammation and dental pain. Aceclofenac and paracetamol work synergistically to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis via cyclooxygenase (COX) pathway blockade, while serratiopeptidase promotes the breakdown of fibrin and reduces fluid viscosity at inflammatory sites to facilitate drainage and alleviate edema.
