Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Acemove-ATP is a fixed-dose combination tablet containing aceclofenac, paracetamol (acetaminophen), and tizanidine. It is indicated for the short-term relief of severe pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms associated with acute musculoskeletal disorders, including lower back pain, neck pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes to reduce prostaglandin synthesis, thereby alleviating pain and inflammation. Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic that acts primarily on the central nervous system to relieve pain and fever. Tizanidine is a centrally acting alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that acts as a muscle relaxant, reducing muscle stiffness and spasms by increasing presynaptic inhibition of motor neurons.
