Overview

Acelagraft is a decellularized dehydrated human amniotic membrane (DDHAM) bi-layer graft developed by Celularity Inc. (formerly Celgene Cellular Therapeutics). As a human cell, tissue, and cellular and tissue-based product (HCT/P) regulated under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act, it is designed for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and venous leg ulcers. The product consists of a biological scaffold rich in extracellular matrix (ECM) components such as collagen, fibronectin, laminin, glycosaminoglycans, and elastin. It functions by providing a structural environment that supports cellular infiltration and tissue regeneration, rather than through a specific pharmacological or molecular target.
