Nacra is a brand of analgesic medications marketed by Thrift Pharmaceuticals. It is available in two distinct formulations: Nacra injection, which contains tramadol hydrochloride as a single active ingredient, and Nacra tablets, which is a fixed-dose combination of acetaminophen (paracetamol) and tramadol hydrochloride. Tramadol is a centrally acting synthetic opioid analgesic and a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), while acetaminophen is a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic. Together, these formulations are used for the management of moderate to severe pain.
