ACG-701 is an oral, loading dose formulation of sodium fusidate, an antibiotic effective against *Staphylococcus aureus*, including methicillin-resistant *S. aureus* (MRSA). It is being developed for the treatment of acute pulmonary exacerbations associated with cystic fibrosis and melioidosis. ACG-701 has received Fast Track Designation, Orphan Drug Designation, and Qualified Infectious Disease Product (QIDP) from the FDA for cystic fibrosis.
