Overview

ACH-AgT001 (also known as BTC-Ag-T) is an autologous, antigen-specific T-cell therapy being developed for the treatment of advanced biliary tract malignancies, including cholangiocarcinoma and gallbladder cancer. The therapy consists of patient-derived T cells that are specifically primed against biliary tract cancer (BTC) antigens and further engineered to overexpress CD160. CD160 is a cell surface receptor that, when expressed on T cells, can enhance their cytotoxic activity and persistence within the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. This therapy is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial sponsored by Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital for patients with advanced, unresectable, or metastatic biliary tract cancer who have failed standard-of-care treatments.
