Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AChR-mimicking nanobody decoy is a computationally designed, non-immunosuppressive therapeutic candidate under development for the treatment of Myasthenia Gravis (MG). It is engineered to mimic the α1-subunit of the acetylcholine receptor (AChR), specifically targeting the Main Immunogenic Region (MIR). By preferentially binding to pathogenic Immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) autoantibodies, the decoy diverts antibody activity away from native receptors, thereby preventing antibody blocking, antigenic modulation, and complement activation at the neuromuscular junction.
