**Acloproxalap** (ADX-629) is an oral, small-molecule quinoline-based aldehyde scavenger and reactive aldehyde species (RASP) inhibitor developed by Aldeyra Therapeutics for systemic inflammatory and immunological diseases. By reducing toxic aldehyde load and inhibiting pro‑inflammatory RASP signaling, it is being investigated across a range of conditions driven by inflammation and oxidative stress, including plaque psoriasis, atopic asthma and dermatitis, obesity, acute alcoholic hepatitis, cytokine storm/COVID‑19-associated cytokine release syndrome, ethanol toxicity, minimal change disease/nephrotic syndrome, and Sjögren‑Larsson syndrome. As an analog of the ophthalmic RASP inhibitor reproxalap, acloproxalap is intended to provide systemic modulation of aldehyde-mediated inflammatory pathways via convenient oral dosing.
