ACLX-001 is an investigational, adaptive cell therapy developed by Arcellx for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. It is composed of ARC-T cells and a bivalent SparX protein that targets B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), utilizing the same antigen-binding domain as anitocabtagene autoleucel. The therapy leverages the ARC-SparX platform, which allows controllable and adaptable CAR-T cell activity through soluble protein adapters, enabling activation or silencing in vivo in a dose-dependent manner. The mechanism involves immunologic cytotoxicity mediated by engineered T lymphocytes directed against BCMA-expressing myeloma cells[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
