Overview

ACM-012 is a thermostable mRNA vaccine candidate developed by ACM Biolabs for the prevention of rabies. It utilizes the company's proprietary Artificial Cell Membrane (ACM) platform, specifically the ATP (Artificial cell membrane Tunable Particle) nanoparticle delivery system. This platform is designed to encapsulate mRNA encoding rabies virus antigens, providing enhanced stability at refrigerated temperatures (2–8°C), which eliminates the need for ultra-cold chain logistics. The program is supported by funding from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) to advance the development of pandemic-ready vaccines. As of early 2026, the program is in the IND-enabling phase of development.
