Acoydase-Cold Tablets is an oral fixed-dose combination therapy developed by Bernard Biotech for the symptomatic relief of the common cold, nasal congestion, fever, and associated pain or body aches. The formulation contains five active ingredients: aceclofenac (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes to reduce pain and inflammation), paracetamol (an analgesic and antipyretic), cetirizine hydrochloride (a second-generation H1 antihistamine that alleviates allergic symptoms like runny nose and sneezing), phenylephrine hydrochloride (a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist that acts as a nasal decongestant), and caffeine (a central nervous system stimulant that acts as an analgesic adjuvant and helps counteract drowsiness caused by antihistamines).
