Overview

ACR-6840 is a potential first-in-class, orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of Cyclin-dependent kinase 11 (CDK11) developed by Acrivon Therapeutics. Discovered and designed using the proprietary Acrivon Predictive Precision Proteomics (AP3) platform, ACR-6840 is intended to treat solid tumors specifically identified by AP3-derived biomarkers. CDK11 is a key regulator of multiple cellular processes, including transcription, pre-mRNA splicing, and mitosis, and its inhibition represents a novel approach to disrupting the cell cycle in cancer cells. The compound is currently in preclinical development, with an Investigational New Drug (IND) submission anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2026.
