ACT-001 CAR-NK cell is an allogeneic, bispecific chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR-NK) cell therapy developed by RenJi Hospital in collaboration with Acellytron Therapeutics. The therapy consists of engineered NK cells that express a bispecific CAR targeting two distinct antigens: B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D). Both antigens are highly expressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma. By targeting two antigens simultaneously, ACT-001 aims to reduce the risk of relapse due to antigen escape and enhance the depth of clinical response. It is currently under investigation in an exploratory clinical trial (NCT06594211) for patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
