Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ACT003 is a preclinical small molecule drug candidate developed by Tianjin AccendaTech Edge Technology for the treatment of squamous cell lung carcinoma (SqCLC). It functions as a targeted inhibitor of Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1 (FGFR1), a receptor tyrosine kinase that is frequently amplified or overexpressed in squamous cell lung cancers. FGFR1 signaling is a known driver of tumor cell proliferation, survival, and angiogenesis in this patient population. By selectively blocking the FGFR1 pathway, ACT003 aims to suppress tumor growth and provide a precision medicine approach for SqCLC patients harboring FGFR1 genetic alterations. The drug is currently undergoing preclinical evaluation to characterize its pharmacological profile and anti-tumor activity.
