Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Acteev is a topical herbal cream developed by Arthritis Relief Plus Ltd. in collaboration with the Stanford Center on Longevity at Stanford University. The formulation is designed to alleviate symptoms of osteoarthritis, specifically pain and stiffness in the knee, and is also being investigated for its potential disease-modifying effects in slowing the progression of joint degeneration. Acteev is composed of natural herbal ingredients and has been evaluated in randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials using the WOMAC osteoarthritis index and visual analogue pain scales. Beyond human osteoarthritis, the product is also being developed for veterinary applications in animal degenerative joint conditions, as well as for cervical and lumbar spondylitis.
