Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Actinium Ac 225-FL-020 is a next-generation, prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted alpha radioconjugate (RDC) developed for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). The drug consists of the PSMA-targeting vector FL-020 conjugated to the highly potent alpha-emitting radioisotope actinium-225. Discovered using Full-Life's proprietary UniRDC and Clear-X linker-chelator technologies, the conjugate is designed to optimize biodistribution by enhancing tumor uptake and retention while maintaining rapid systemic clearance. This targeted delivery of alpha radiation induces DNA double-strand breaks and tumor cell apoptosis while sparing radiosensitive healthy tissues, such as the salivary glands, thereby potentially widening the therapeutic window compared to beta-emitting radioligands.
