Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ActiRhino Pastilles (also marketed as ActiRhino Pastilles Maux de gorge) is an over-the-counter medical device developed and marketed by Laboratoires Grimberg. Formulated as sugar-free, cherry-flavored lozenges, it is indicated for the symptomatic relief of sore throat, dry cough, and hoarseness in adults and children aged 6 years and older. The pastilles contain a natural combination of Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica) extract, mallow (Malva sylvestris) extract, menthol, and vitamin C. Iceland moss and mallow are rich in mucilages that form a protective, hydrating film over the irritated oropharyngeal mucosa, shielding it from inflammatory triggers and promoting tissue regeneration. Menthol provides an immediate cooling and local soothing effect, while vitamin C offers antioxidant support.
