Overview
ActiRhino Spray is an over-the-counter medical device developed by Laboratoires Grimberg for the symptomatic relief of intense sore throat and nasal congestion. Formulated as a hypertonic, film-forming osmotic solution, it contains vegetable-derived glycerol, water, and a complex of plant extracts including ivy leaf (Hedera helix) and blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum), along with essential oils of peppermint, thyme, and rosemary. Upon application, the spray forms a protective, moisturizing barrier on the affected mucosa, mechanically trapping and removing pathogens, inflammatory proteins, and environmental irritants while promoting tissue repair and reducing pain and swelling.
