Actisoufre is a sulfur-based pharmaceutical product developed by Laboratoires Grimberg, specifically formulated for the treatment of upper respiratory tract conditions including acute and chronic rhinitis, rhinopharyngitis, and rhinosinusitis. The medication contains sodium monosulfide and a yeast extract derived from *Saccharomyces cerevisiae*. Sodium monosulfide provides a source of sulfur, which exerts a mucolytic effect by breaking disulfide bonds in mucus and provides a trophic effect on the respiratory epithelium, promoting mucosal health.
