Activated CIK cells + anti-CD3-MUC1 bispecific antibody is an investigational immunotherapy combining **cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells**—a heterogeneous population of in vitro-expanded lymphocytes with both T cell (CD3+) and natural killer (NK, CD56+) properties—and a **bispecific antibody** (BsAb) that targets both **CD3** on T cells and **MUC1**, a tumor-associated antigen overexpressed in many epithelial cancers. The anti-CD3-MUC1 bispecific antibody bridges CIK cells to MUC1-positive tumor cells, enhancing the CIK cells’ antigen-specific cytotoxicity by stimulating T cell activation, cytokine release, and targeted tumor cell lysis. This approach leverages both the broad, MHC-unrestricted cytotoxic potential of CIK cells and the tumor specificity provided by the bispecific antibody. The therapy is under clinical investigation primarily for advanced solid tumors, including advanced colorectal and liver cancer[2][7][10][1].
