Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ActNise Cream is a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory massage cream developed and marketed by PharmEvo in Pakistan. It is formulated with a combination of natural active ingredients, including wintergreen oil (methyl salicylate), camphor, menthol, and eucalyptus oil. The cream is indicated for the fast relief of minor aches and pains associated with muscles and joints, such as arthritis, rheumatism, backache, muscle strains, stiff neck, bursitis, sciatica, and bruises. It works by producing a synergistic warming-cooling sensation that stimulates cutaneous thermal receptors (such as TRPM8, TRPV1, and TRPV3) and inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing pain perception and localized inflammation.
