Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AcuVera is a transdermal microneedle patch system developed by CuRsuS Bio for cosmetic and dermatological applications, including the treatment of acne, fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles. The patches utilize the proprietary MicroLock™ technology, which features dissolvable, biodegradable microneedles designed to penetrate the stratum corneum and deliver active ingredients directly into the skin. This delivery mechanism is intended to provide higher efficacy than traditional topical formulations by ensuring deeper penetration of the therapeutic or cosmetic agents. The AcuVera line is currently in the preclinical stage of development and is primarily positioned for the skincare market.
