ACX-02

ACX-02 is an antibody conjugate being developed by Centauri Therapeutics for the treatment of hematologic malignancies. It is based on the company's proprietary Alphamer platform, which utilizes bifunctional molecules to redirect the immune system against specific targets. ACX-02 consists of a targeting antibody or antibody fragment (Fab) conjugated to alpha-Gal carbohydrates. The molecule is designed to bind to a specific, currently undisclosed, antigen on the surface of malignant hematologic cells while simultaneously recruiting naturally occurring anti-Gal antibodies present in human serum. This recruitment triggers a potent immune response, including complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), leading to the destruction of the targeted cancer cells.
