Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AD-116 is a new molecular entity under development by Addpharma for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia[7]. Its precise mechanism of action has not yet been defined in publicly available sources, and no target, pharmacology, or molecular structure information is currently disclosed[7][2][6][10]. Preclinical studies are underway in South Korea, and a phase I clinical trial is planned for healthy adult male volunteers to assess safety and pharmacokinetics (NCT07103278)[7][2][6][10]. There are no published data indicating use for other diseases or expanded indications. No evidence currently suggests AD-116 is a combination product, biosimilar, generic, reformulation, or dietary supplement.
