Overview

**AD-214** is an investigational, intravenously administered anti-fibrotic biologic developed by AdAlta. It is a bivalent Fc-fusion i-body comprising two CXCR4-binding AD-114-derived i-body domains fused to an immunoglobulin Fc region, a design intended to increase avidity and prolong systemic half-life. By antagonizing C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4, AD-214 is intended to modulate CXCR4-associated inflammatory and fibrotic signaling. The program has completed Phase 1 clinical studies and has been developed primarily for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, with additional development interest in kidney fibrosis and chronic kidney disease; liver and skin fibrosis are additional potential indications.
