Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AD-E6E7 + MG1-E6E7 + atezolizumab is an investigational combination immunotherapy targeting human papillomavirus (HPV)-associated cancers, currently under clinical development. - **AD-E6E7** is an adenovirus-based vaccine expressing mutant HPV E6 and E7 antigens engineered to abrogate oncogenic activity while retaining immunogenicity. - **MG1-E6E7** is an oncolytic Maraba virus engineered to express the same mutant HPV E6 and E7 antigens, designed to induce tumor cell lysis and enhance anti-tumor immune responses through virolytic activity and antigen presentation. - **Atezolizumab** is a humanized monoclonal antibody that blocks programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), thereby releasing inhibition of anti-tumor T-cell activity and reinvigorating immune responses[2][4][6]. The regimen is designed with sequential priming and boosting using viral vectors, followed by checkpoint inhibition to maximize CD8+ T cell responses against HPV-induced malignancies and overcome tumor immune evasion[1][3][5].
