Ad-EndoAngio

Ad-EndoAngio is a non-replicating adenoviral gene therapy vector designed to express a fusion protein of endostatin and angiostatin. Endostatin and angiostatin are endogenous inhibitors of angiogenesis that work synergistically to suppress tumor vascularization. By delivering the genes for these proteins directly into the tumor environment, Ad-EndoAngio provides sustained anti-angiogenic activity, which has been shown in preclinical models to significantly inhibit the growth and metastasis of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The therapy aims to exploit the highly vascular nature of RCC to starve the tumor of its blood supply.
