**Ad-HBx-mIL-12** is an experimental recombinant adenoviral gene-therapy vector engineered to express hepatitis B virus X protein and mouse interleukin-12. It was developed in preclinical hepatocellular carcinoma models to combine HBx-associated tumor-cell apoptosis and anti-angiogenic activity with IL-12-driven antitumor immune activation. Local tumor treatment produced tumor-growth suppression, increased intratumoral CD8-positive T cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells, and reduced tumor angiogenesis in vivo.
