Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ad-PD-L1 is a replication-defective adenovirus vaccine designed to encode the immune checkpoint protein Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). It functions as an immune checkpoint vaccine, aiming to induce a specific immune response against PD-L1. This mechanism is intended to enhance anti-tumor immunity by activating PD-L1-specific T cells, thereby modulating the tumor microenvironment and overcoming immune evasion in cancers such as renal cell carcinoma. It is currently in preclinical development for renal cell carcinoma.
