Overview

AD07010 (also known as DCB07010) is a recombinant protein adjuvant developed by Advagene Biopharma, derived from a detoxified mutant of the *Escherichia coli* heat-labile enterotoxin (LT). It is specifically designed for intranasal administration to enhance the immune response to co-administered antigens, such as those in inactivated influenza vaccines. The adjuvant works by binding to GM1 gangliosides on the surface of mucosal epithelial cells and antigen-presenting cells, which facilitates the uptake of antigens and stimulates both mucosal (IgA) and systemic (IgG) immunity. AD07010 is the primary component of Advagene's LT-Adjuvant platform (also referred to as AD-17002) and has been evaluated in Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials as part of the AD07030 intranasal trivalent influenza vaccine candidate.
