AD101

AD101 is a topical small molecule aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) modulator being developed by Shenzhen 01 Life Technology Co., Ltd (01Life) for the treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis and associated pruritus. As a new molecular entity (NME) derived from human skin commensal bacteria metabolites, AD101 is designed to target pathways involved in skin barrier restoration and inflammatory response. The drug has completed Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China, where it was assessed for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in both healthy volunteers and patients with atopic dermatitis. It is reported to act on two clinically proven targets for atopic dermatitis and pruritus, though only the AHR modulation has been explicitly named in public disclosures.
