AD17002-AI is an intranasal immunotherapy candidate developed by Advagene Biotechnology for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, specifically targeting house dust mite (HDM) sensitivity. The therapy is a combination of the LTh(αK) immune modulation protein—a detoxified heat-labile enterotoxin (LT) adjuvant—and HDM allergen. It is designed to modulate mucosal immune responses and induce type I interferon to achieve allergen-specific immunomodulation. Administered as a nasal spray, AD17002-AI has completed Phase 1/2 clinical trials, where it was evaluated for safety, tolerability, and potential efficacy in subjects with HDM-induced allergic rhinitis.
