Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AD17002-SC is Advagene's intranasal COVID-19 immunotherapy based on LTh (αK), a genetically detoxified *Escherichia coli* heat-labile enterotoxin protein. It is designed as a host-directed mucosal innate-immunity activator rather than a SARS-CoV-2 antigen-specific vaccine: intranasal administration is intended to induce epithelial type I and type III interferon responses, reduce viral replication, and support recovery in mild-to-moderate COVID-19. The COVID-19 program generated Phase IIa clinical data, while the subsequent Phase II/III COVID-19 study was terminated. ([advagene.com.tw](https://www.advagene.com.tw/introduction))
