Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ad26.Filo is an investigational trivalent prophylactic **adenovirus serotype 26 viral-vector vaccine** for filovirus diseases. It is a fixed 1:1:1 mixture of three recombinant, replication-incompetent Ad26-vectored vaccine components: Ad26.ZEBOV, encoding the glycoprotein of Zaire ebolavirus Mayinga; Ad26.SUDV, encoding the glycoprotein of Sudan virus Gulu; and Ad26.MARV, encoding the glycoprotein of Marburg virus Angola. By delivering these glycoprotein antigens in vivo, the vaccine is intended to elicit antigen-specific humoral and cellular immune responses against Ebola virus disease, Sudan virus disease, and Marburg virus disease. Janssen evaluated Ad26.Filo in a completed Phase 1 heterologous prime-boost study with MVA-BN-Filo in healthy adults.
