Ad4-EnvC150 is a replication-competent adenovirus type-4 (Ad4) vectored vaccine candidate designed for the prevention of HIV-1 infection. The vaccine is engineered to express the HIV-1 envelope (Env) protein from clade C, specifically the C150 strain. By utilizing a replication-competent Ad4 vector, the vaccine aims to induce robust and sustained mucosal and systemic immune responses through replication in the respiratory or gastrointestinal tracts.
