**Adacel Polio** is a combination vaccine providing active immunization against tetanus, reduced diphtheria, acellular pertussis (whooping cough), and inactivated poliovirus types 1, 2, and 3 (Vero cell-derived). It contains tetanus toxoid, diphtheria toxoid, pertussis toxoid (PT), filamentous haemagglutinin (FHA), pertactin (PRN), fimbriae types 2 and 3 (FIM), and inactivated poliovirus antigens adsorbed on aluminum phosphate. Developed and manufactured by Sanofi, it is administered as a sterile suspension for intramuscular injection in a 0.5 mL dose, primarily used as a booster in children, adolescents, and adults to maintain immunity against these diseases.[1][3][9]
