Adalimumab-adbm is a recombinant human anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha monoclonal antibody biosimilar to adalimumab, marketed as Cyltezo and developed by Boehringer Ingelheim. It binds tumor necrosis factor alpha and blocks interaction with TNF receptors, thereby suppressing downstream inflammatory signaling. The product is administered by subcutaneous injection and is approved for multiple chronic inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, plaque psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and uveitis. It is notable as an interchangeable biosimilar to Humira in the United States.
