Adapalene + clindamycin is a fixed-dose topical combination medication used primarily for the treatment of acne vulgaris. Adapalene is a third-generation retinoid that acts as a retinoic acid receptor agonist; it modulates cellular differentiation and keratinization and exhibits anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting keratinocyte proliferation and reducing inflammation.
