Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ADAT2-siRNA is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) encapsulated in vesicle-like nanoparticles (VNPs) designed to target and knock down adenosine deaminase tRNA-specific 2 (ADAT2). ADAT2 is an enzyme that mediates adenosine-to-inosine (A-to-I) modification at tRNA position 34, which is overexpressed in colorectal cancer (CRC) and promotes oncogenic translation and chemoresistance via the HDAC7-WNT/β-catenin axis. Knockdown of ADAT2 using ADAT2-siRNA promotes dendritic cell migration and maturation, boosts antitumor immunity, and enhances the efficacy of chemotherapy (such as oxaliplatin and 5-fluorouracil) and anti-PD-1 immunotherapy in colorectal cancer models.
