Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ADB-002 is a peptide-based checkpoint inhibitor developed by AdaptBio Therapeutics using its proprietary ADAPTin platform. It is designed to target and inhibit the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) receptor. By blocking the PD-1 signaling pathway, ADB-002 prevents the suppression of T-cell activity, thereby restoring and enhancing the immune system's ability to identify and destroy tumor cells. The drug is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors, specifically melanoma and basal cell carcinoma (BCC).
