Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ADC2202 is a third-generation, dual payload antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting HER2 (receptor protein-tyrosine kinase erbB-2). Developed by Hangzhou Adcoris Biopharmacy, it utilizes the MuSC™ platform to combine two cytotoxic drugs with different mechanisms of action for synergistic disruption of cell organelles. This design aims to enhance antitumor efficacy and overcome resistance seen in earlier HER2-targeted therapies. Preclinical data show that ADC2202 demonstrates potent antitumor effects and superior efficacy compared to DS-8201 (trastuzumab deruxtecan) in several cell-derived xenograft models. The drug is currently in preclinical development for HER2-low breast carcinoma and potentially other neoplasms[1][2].
