Overview

ADC308 is an orally bioavailable small molecule gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor antagonist being developed by Jiaxing Antidote Biopharmaceutical. It is designed for the treatment of hormone-dependent gynecological conditions, specifically endometriosis and uterine leiomyoma (uterine fibroids). By competitively binding to GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, ADC308 inhibits the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which in turn suppresses the production of ovarian steroids such as estrogen and progesterone. This modulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis is intended to alleviate symptoms like chronic pelvic pain and heavy menstrual bleeding while maintaining estrogen levels within a therapeutic window to minimize bone mineral density loss. As of 2026, the drug is undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in healthy premenopausal women to assess its safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics.
