Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AdC6-HIVgp140 is a chimpanzee-derived replication-defective adenovirus (Ad) vector expressing codon optimized gp140 of clade C isolate Du422. It is being developed as an HIV-1 vaccine candidate that aims to induce immune responses against HIV envelope proteins. The vaccine is administered intramuscularly and is being tested in various prime-boost regimens, including combinations with AdC7-HIVgp140 and protein boosts like CH505TF gp120 adjuvanted with GLA-SE.
