AdC7-HIVgp140 is an investigational HIV-1 vaccine candidate that utilizes a replication-defective chimpanzee adenovirus serotype 7 (AdC7) vector to deliver and express the codon-optimized gp140 envelope glycoprotein from clade C HIV-1.
