This is a multi-component experimental malaria vaccine regimen targeting *Plasmodium falciparum*. It combines a viral vector (chimpanzee adenovirus serotype 63, AdCh63) encoding the apical membrane antigen 1 (AMA1), a recombinant protein vaccine containing two allelic forms of AMA1 (AMA1-C1), the adjuvant Alhydrogel (aluminum hydroxide), and the immunostimulatory CpG oligodeoxynucleotide adjuvant CPG 7909.
