Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ADCplex K5 is a dual-antibody, triple-payload liposomal antibody-drug complex (ADC) developed by Highfield Biopharmaceuticals for the treatment of solid tumors. Built on the proprietary ADCplex platform, K5 is designed to overcome tumor heterogeneity and therapeutic resistance. It incorporates two distinct targeting antibodies directed against HER2 and EGFR, along with three cytotoxic payloads: doxorubicin (a topoisomerase II inhibitor), irinotecan (a topoisomerase I inhibitor), and monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE, a microtubule inhibitor). By delivering these complementary payloads at reduced systemic exposures, K5 aims to suppress resistant tumor subclones through concurrent multi-mechanistic cytotoxic pressure while minimizing overlapping toxicities and preserving immune competence.
