ADCT-212

ADCT-212 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) designed to target prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA). The drug consists of a monoclonal antibody directed against PSMA, conjugated via a stable linker to a pyrrolobenzodiazepine (PBD) dimer payload (specifically SG2000). The ADC is designed to deliver its cytotoxic PBD payload selectively to PSMA-expressing tumor cells, causing DNA cross-linking and tumor cell death. ADCT-212 has demonstrated potent and specific anti-tumor activity in preclinical models and has shown favorable pharmacokinetic and safety profiles in animal studies. It is primarily being developed for the treatment of prostate cancer, particularly metastatic and castration-resistant forms, but preclinical studies have indicated potential applicability in other PSMA-expressing solid tumors[1][2][7].
